Foss comes to the media and entertainment company from FreeWheel Advertisers, where she was Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives. Prior to that, she was General Manager, Ad Tech for Imagine Communications. She has more than 25 years of experience. In her new role, Foss will oversee all aspects of enterprise technology systems and programs. Foss holds a Bachelors in Communications from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Management/Telecommunications from Ohio University.

Johnson Controls names Diane Schwarz as CIO

Schwarz will head up the entire IT organization and will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive IT strategy that continues to merge technology operations for scalability and global growth enterprise-wide. She joins the company from Hunt Consolidated, where she was Senior Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer. Schwarz holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and English from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business.

Zeeshan Sheikh appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Information and Digital Officer for PSEG

Sheikh will oversee the direction and management of all IT and digital needs for the organization. He joins the company from Entergy, where he had been for almost 20 years, most recently as Vice President and CIO. Sheikh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Business and Economics.

Scripps Health promotes Shane Thielman to corporate Senior Vice President and CIO

Thielman joined the organization in 2006 and was most recently interim CIO and Assistant Vice President, Information Management. He has held other leadership roles at the company within medical management, project management, and strategic planning. Thielman holds a Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University and an MHA in Health Administration from University of Southern California.

Ryan Hummel promoted to CIO at Planet Group

Hummel, who joined the company in 2010, was most recently Group Head of Infrastructure and Service Management for the organization, and prior to that, was Senior Vice President, Global IT Operations. In his new role, he will oversee global IT and Security for the enterprise. Hummel holds a BS in Computer Science from Columbia Southern University and an EMBA from Drexel University.

Ortho Clinical Diagnostics names Ariane Schiereck as Global CIO

Schiereck, with more than 25 years of senior IT leadership, will lead the global IT organization as well as help build the digital footprint of the future. She joins the company from Brighton Cromwell, where she was Chief Information and Security Officer. Previously, she was Senior Vice President IT, CIO Commercial Division for inVentiv Health. Schiereck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and an MBA from Lehigh University.

Generac Power Systems names Tim Dickson as CIO

Dickson joins the company in this newly created role in order to elevate IT within the organization, as well as to align global technologies by developing and executing enterprise-wide IT strategy and architecture. Previously he was Vice President, Digital Business Platform with Laureate International Universities, as well as Vice President, Front Office IT and Digital Transformation for Motorola Solutions. Dickson holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Texas at Austin – Red McCombs School of Business.

Hy Cite Enterprises names Phil Smart as CIO

Smart joins the organization from Tupperware, where he had been for more than 20 years, most recently as Global Digital Technology Executive (CIO/CTO). Smart holds an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University Belfast, and an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.

Tom Farrah joins Vistra as Senior Vice President and CIO

Farrah, with 30 years of IT experience, joined the organization from Keurig Dr Pepper, where he was most recently Senior Vice President of Business Transformation. In his new role, he will ensure the reliability, security and ongoing development of the technology platforms for the organization, as well as deliver new solutions that support the business. Farrah holds a Bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Windsor, Canada.

OneAmerica names Jose Martinez as Senior Vice President and CIO

Martinez joined the organization several years ago and took on the CIO role in an interim capacity in 2019. He had previously been Vice President, IT Infrastructure and Application Support, and Vice President, Business Relationship Management and Enterprise Architecture for the company, and has prior experience at Interactive Intelligence and IBM. Martinez holds both a BME and an MSME in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Alphia names Robert Long as CTO/CIO

Long has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience. He was previously Senior Vice President Operations, CIO and CISO for MBSi Corp. Prior to that, he had been General Manager and Vice President of Operations for Perfection Pet Foods, as well as CIO for Del Monte Foods.

Magellan Midstream Partners names Bhupesh Arora as Vice President, CIO

Arora joins the organization from Avery Dennison, where he had been for many years, most recently as Senior Director, Digital Innovation, Enterprise Architecture and Intelligent Labels. Prior to that he had been with Hyundai and Nissan in various IT roles. Arora has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering and an MBA in MIS/Finance from the Eller College of Management at University of Arizona.

Orgill names Marc Hamer as Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer

Hamer has a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University.

Fifth Third Bank names Linda Clement-Holmes to Board of Directors

Clement-Holmes, retired CIO of Procter & Gamble, will serve on the Technology Committee for Fifth Third’s board. She had been with P&G from 1983 to 2018. She brings leadership in information technology, as well as in diversity and inclusion. Clement-Holmes also serves on the board of Cincinnati Financial Corporation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Management – Computer Science from Purdue University.

Butler was appointed to the newly created role and is responsible for spearheading IT strategy, innovation, modernization and delivery for the organization. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, IT and CIO (Applebee’s and IHOP) for Dine Brands Global, and had formerly been with Target for several years. Butler has a B.S. in Computer Science from Grambling State University, an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Doctorate in Management from University of Maryland University College.

Glenn Remoreras named CIO for Mark Anthony Group

Remoreras joins the organization from Constellation Brands, where he was Vice President IT, Strategic Partner and Office of the CIO. In his new role, he is tasked with evolving the technology function to mirror the company’s growth and strategic objectives. He is also a board member with the Business Relationship Management (BRM) Institute. Remoreras has a BS in Computer Studies, Information Technology from De La Salle University and an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Catalent Pharma names Charles Lickfold as Senior Vice President and CIO

Lickfold will oversee global IT services and technology for the company, as well as be responsible for the ongoing digital transformation. He was most recently CIO for Alcami Corporation, and prior to that was Executive Vice President and CIO with Avara Pharmaceutical Services. Lickfold holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at the University of Kentucky.

Deanna Johnston joins Ansell as Senior Vice President and CIO

Johnston comes to the company from Shisheido Americas, where she was CIO. She previously held the CIO position at both Haier America and Belkin. She has more than 25 years of IT experience, with nine years as CIO. Johnston holds a BA in Business (Finance) from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Werner Enterprises names Daragh Mahon as Executive Vice President and CIO  

Mahon joins the organization from Vonage where he had been Senior Vice President – Global IT and Business Applications. Prior to that, he had been with Sage for many years. Mahon attended Athlone Institute of Technology.

Mount Sinai Health System promotes Kristin Myers to Executive Vice President, CIO and Dean for IT

Myers, who has been with the organization for many years, was promoted from the role of Senior Vice President for Technology. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing IT operations, driving agility to support overall strategy, and enabling digital transformation. Myers holds a Bachelor of Information Technology/Bachelor of Laws, Information Technology and Law from Queensland University of Technology, as well as an Executive Masters of Public Health/Healthcare Administration/Management from Columbia University.

AFS Logistics names Nathan Johnson as CIO

Johnson joins the organization from Werner Enterprises, where he was senior vice president and CIO. He had previously held the same role with Ports America. In his new role, Johnson will oversee process excellence and innovation, as well as on-time IT execution across the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Logistics from The Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.

Shawn Harrs appointed CIO for Ygrene Energy Fund

Harrs, who has more than 20 years of IT leadership experience, will be responsible for all IT strategy for the organization, particularly the utilization of state-of-the-art technologies in order to target new areas of growth. He had previously held senior IT roles with Bang Energy, NBC Universal Media, Lennar, and The Walt Disney Company. Harrs holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida, an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, as well as a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.

Federal Reserve Bank of Boston announces Matthew Postulka as Senior Vice President, Technology & Operations, CIO

Postulka will oversee the Business Technology Solutions group as well as the Information Security team, as well as operations for cash and wholesale payments. He joins the organization from Arbella Insurance where he was Assistant Vice President, Information Technology, as well as, most recently Deputy CIO. Postulka has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Providence College, and an MBA from Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

YMCA of USA appoints Siva Balu as CIO

Balu joins the organization from Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, where he had been for many years, most recently as Executive Director & Head of Enterprise IT. Balu holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Bharathiar University in India, and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Mark Rohrwasser hired as CIO with Silicon Valley Bank

Arthur Hubbs appointed Corporate Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer with Charles River Labs

Hubbs rejoins the firm, where he had previously been Corporate Senior Vice President, IT and Chief Information Officer from 2010 until 2015. He brings more than 25 years of IT leadership and experience. He will lead the global IT enterprise, delivering technology and data security solutions company wide. He had previously been Vice President and Worldwide Head of Informatics for Pfizer. Hubbs holds a B.S. degree in Finance from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and an M.S. in Accounting from San Diego State University.
